(I thought my first submission would be more relevant to the stuff I like to read about, but still …) I did a “write a haiku-a-day” challenge for myself (5-7-5 style) a few years ago, kept going for a year, then forgot about it. Stumbled across this again, sifted through them and got rid of most but feel like it would be worth publishing the rest _somehow_. I would like some sort of physical artifact too, so AFAICT my options seem to be Lulu.com or KDP Print, if I want to self-publish, and … thought there just _might_ be someone here who’s done something similar, so … yeah, looking for any and all advice on this. Much thanks!

I was looking for ideas on how to build a simple network analyzer to test antennas, filters etc. so I typed "network analyzer schematic" (without quotes) on Google Images and it apparently returned some results I was expecting, but clicking on a lot of results from the first page opened some subscription only websites with suspicious names nagging me to create an account to see the actual images, some of which I'm 100% sure I already have seen on their original authors websites. Those websites are clearly made by the same entity, and to me it appears they're essentially hijacking Google Images results for their profit. Here are some of those results; many more on the 1st page. I had a hard time finding something that returned an actual loadable image or an article without asking for subscription. I highly value the ease of deployment and monitoring found on Heroku and wonder what the modern way to setup something similar is on AWS? I know of Kubernetes and the CloudFoundary stack, but I feel like there must be some out of the box AMI's that I just dont know about. I have a Rails hobby project that is costing me ~$200+/- a month because its on the heroku ecosystem. The app is not too wild, but occasionally takes some batch processes which force me to make some spin up higher quality services (increase Redis memory, increase processing power/"worker" count, etc). Can anyone point me in a direction worth exploring?

I see this question as a serious career choice and if I don't do well as a manager I eighter waste time that I could spend on working towards my promotion or just get frustrated.
