MAPS.ME has added Wikipedia descriptions to the information available for mapped places of interest. Now MAPS.ME users can see detailed descriptions for over 20,000 sights across 193 countries. Wikipedia data is available through a place's details card which opens upon clicking on the map. Information can also be viewed off-line without any internet connection. To do this, just download a new map or update an existing one. Wikipedia information has been added to the descriptions of primary places of interest and other landmarks in the cities of the world. Updated maps are already available in the MAPS.ME application.
