I have been working in an investment bank for the past months(my first job), and I was surprised to find out out that my team doesn't write any tests at all. There is also no code reviews, you are responsible for your own code. There seems to exist a "hustle" mentality, where you need to ship at all costs, the engineers frequently work from 9am-9pm and then some weekends. Is this common practice in the industry?
